How to manage health and safety risks
This Model Code of Conduct provides practical information on how to manage health and safety risks in the workplace by identifying hazards, assessing the risks arising from those hazards, putting in place a hierarchy of control measures and reviewing the effectiveness of those control measures. Since the management of work health and safety risks is central to the Model Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Cth) and Work Health and Safety Regulations 2011 (Cth), this Model Code of Conduct has wide application.
See How to manage health and safety risks.
Work Health and Safety consultation, cooperation and coordination
This Model Code of Practice provides detailed practical guidance on how to comply with the obligations contained in the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Cth), for duty holders to consult with each other and for persons conducting a business or undertaking to consult with workers.
In addition to duties to consult, duty holders also have obligations to cooperate and coordinate activities with other duty holders. This Model Code of Practice also provides practical guidance on how to comply with these obligations.
See Work health and safety consultation, cooperation and coordination.
First aid in the workplace
This Model Code of Practice explains how to determine the first aid requirements of a particular workplace and give specific advice about first aid equipment and training.
See First aid in the workplace.
