Abstract:
The Federal Court of Australia (FCA) has upheld the appeal of a mining group after taxing them for the income years of 2007 to 2009 in the amount of more than $90m. The FCA ruled that the assessment conducted by the Commissioner of Taxation of the Commonwealth of Australia against the mining group was excessive.
