Victorian Building Authority V Andriotis

High Court of Australia

Judgment Date:
2019-08-07

Abstract:
A New South Wales (NSW) registered waterproofer who was refused registration in Victoria for not being of good character has been held to be eligible for registration by the High Court of Australia (HCA). The HCA held that the fact of his registration in NSW was itself a sufficient ground of entitlement to registration for the equivalent occupation in Victoria.
