New South Wales V Stevenson (Final)

Supreme Court of New South Wales

Judgment Date:
2019-07-02

Abstract:
The New South Wales Supreme Court (NSWSC) has granted the application for an extended supervision order for a period of three years for a high risk sex offender. The NSWSC found that there remained a high degree of probability that the high risk sex offender still posed an unacceptable risk of committing another serious offence if not kept under supervision and that discretion should be exercised in the making of the extended supervision order, as sought.
