Deputy Commissioner of Taxation V Doyle

Supreme Court of New South Wales

Judgment Date:
2018-11-08

Abstract:
The New South Wales Supreme Court (NSWSC) has refused an application for stay of proceedings concerning an approximately $14m worth of tax liabilities assessed against Donna Lee Doyle (Doyle). The NSWSC found that the conduct of the Deputy Commissioner of Taxation did not warrant a grant of stay, pending determination of Doyle's objections to assessments.
