Abstract:
The Federal Court of Australia Full Court (FCAFC) has varied the FCA's decision, convicting and sentencing Mr Adam Kazal for contempt of court in respect to his conduct in alleging that his former business partner was a corporate thief, having stolen $180m from the Kazal family. The FCAFC quashed Kazal's other charges and reduced his sentence from 1 year and 6 months' imprisonment to 1 year and 3 months' imprisonment.
