R V LeSupreme Court of New South Wales
Judgment Date: 2019-04-30
Abstract: The New South Wales Supreme Court (NSWSC) has held that the man charged with murder was not guilty of murder but of manslaughter. The NSWSC reasoned that lowering the charge from murder to manslaughter, an offence available as an alternative to the offence of murder, was due to limited evidence available. The man was also convicted for robbery while being armed.
