Abstract:
The Supreme Court of Australian Capital Territory Court of Appeal (ACTCA) has dismissed the appellant's appeals against conviction and sentence for dishonestly obtaining property by deception to obtain financial advantage using false documents. The ACTCA found that there was no discernible error in the approach taken by the Supreme Court of ACT and the sentence complained of, could not be described as manifestly excessive.
