Judgment Date:
2018-09-21

Abstract:
A man who was found guilty of murder by brutally stabbing his wife, was refused by the Supreme Court of Australian Capital Territory (ACTSC) in his application for leave to appeal out of time. The ACTSC found that there was no adequate explanation why the applicant failed to appeal within the time permitted by the (ACT) Court Procedures Rules 2006.
