Abstract:
The New South Wales Supreme Court of Appeal has allowed in part the appeal of Coles Supermarkets Australia Pty Ltd (Coles) in relation to a customer's claim for damages arising from a slip and fall case. Coles succeeded on the ground of appeal in respect of the customer's contributory negligence assessed at 25%.
